We arrived in Winnipeg last night. We settled in nicely on the street in front of Jason and Michelle's house (Jay's cousin). It was nice to visit relatives and meet the newest member of the family. Thanks to everyone for helping us celebrate Kassidy's birthday when we arrived...everyone enjoys cake at 10:30 at night! We spent today at The Forks - a very interesting and historic area of Winnipeg. The kids enjoyed the Children's Museum-especially the tree fort area. The evening was spent enjoying the comforts of a house, as it will be quite awhile before we will be able to again. Ryley went off to the arena tonight to watch hockey and entertain the baby. :) After a quick tour of the local arena (home of the Moose) in the morning we will be heading to the Thunder Bay, Ontario area to visit and enjoy the Terry Fox Memorial and Lake Mirror.
