We are noticing a trend. The colder it gets in Alberta the more visitors we get! I bet there is some government grant we could get to study the affects of temperature and visiting friends in warmer climates- Coincidence? We think not! And we are LOVING it!!!!
We also wanted to let everyone know that after 5 ½ months of being on the road and away from Rimbey, our family and friends – we have decided not to move to Saskatchewan. We are going to return to Rimbey when our wonderful adventure is over.
Do you ever do that? Create a plan --a great plan with lots of enthusiasm and then change your mind? In the beginning we thought we could do it. We thought we could move away from Rimbey-start over and find a new community that is just as great, but then…we began to realize(after seeing so many wonderful places and some not-so-wonderful places) that you just can’t find Rimbey or the people we love just anywhere. Not to mention the fact that we missed everyone A LOT! We will be headed home soon. Hopefully, the cold snaps will be gone by then. In the meantime- stay warm.

p.s. Never ride your bikes in the desert. The spines/thorns are VERY sharp. Jay has recently repaired 4 flat tires…lesson learned.
